For most people the tour starts on the first day in the mountains. That’s today then!
A summit finish is the first chance for the main contenders to show themselves and I think today Froome sent a clear message tat the pre-race favourite tag is most definitely correct. The solo display after some great teamwork by Sky has surely worried anyone that thought Froome had peaked early. Defend now ? Personally I think he’ll be on the attack again.
