Steel magazine is described as Magazine of the Urban Cyclist. I picked up a copy from Fingerprint Distribution along side my other favourite cycling read Boneshaker Magazine.
Steel is published in France and is dual language – one column in French, one in English, which takes a bit of time to adjust to. It’s nice however if you fancy learning French??
Contents wise it’s a nice mix of articles and interviews, urban bike fashion (if that’s your thing) and photographs. There are also some nice art pictures to peruse.
It’s not a magazine as such, so don’t buy it if you want a mainstream read. Some of my mates would describe it as “arty farty crap” but that’s their look out. It’s nice to sit down and slick through it with a cold drink.
