At last! Or should I say at last again!
It’s been a long time coming on this tour, another Cavendish win, but the devastating way he did it today must have everyone knowing Sunday is a foregone conclusion, and seeing him riding at the front of the final fourth category climb must have any Olympic road race wannabes a little bit worried.
It’s starting to look a little bit clearer now, that Cvaendish came into the tour a bit down on form, with the toughest three week training camp ahead of him to be in shape for the Olympics. And, I reckon it’s worked.
So, one day closer to the first ever British tour winner. I still can’t quite believe I’m saying that. I’m hoping for a real crushing victory in tomorrows TT to round it off nicely.
